Kingman adopts Condorcet voting.
The proposed bylaw change has passed by a two-thirds majority vote! Kingman will be the first house in the USCA to use Condorcet voting. We will use the Schulze completion method, just like the Debian project.

Here is the software we will use. It should run on Linux, Mac OS, or Windows.

That's great! I think the only way to get traction for better voting methods is to gain experience using them on a smaller scale.

I came across this message by chance (via google). I'm a Berkeley resident, a big fan of Condorcet voting, and I frequently correspond with Markus Schulze. I have a voting methods web site at
http://fc.antioch.edu/~james_green-armytage/voting.htm
My e-mail address can be found on the bottom of that page.
The Schulze methods is perhaps more commonly known as "beatpath", but Markus likes it to be called the Schulze method. It's an extremely good voting method.
Do you know of any other local efforts to implement Condorcet systems, perhaps on a larger scale?

my best,
James
